The video, titled ‘Average day in Australia’, was shared by Reddit user JinsukeTheHa and has caused quite a stir online. In the footage, two individuals can be seen hanging out of the windows of a 2004 Mazda 3 sedan, reaching out to high-five passing motorists.
The motorcyclist who captured the incident was riding behind the car and tried to catch up to the group of teens. However, the car was traveling at high speeds, making it difficult for the motorbike to keep up.
As the motorbike finally catches up to the car, one of the passengers, wearing a white shirt, extends his arm for a high-five and gives the motorcyclist a thumbs-up. This reckless behavior puts not only the individuals in the car at risk but also other road users.
The video suggests that the incident took place on the Mount Lindesay Highway in Logan, near Brisbane. However, the Queensland Police Service claims to have no knowledge of the incident. They did, however, mention that the car in question was allegedly involved in a petty theft of $15 worth of unleaded petrol on June 27.
