The Mazda CX-60 range has experienced a price increase of $600 as part of a broader price rise effective from October 1, 2023. Despite the increase, Mazda Australia assures customers that there have been no changes to the specifications of the vehicles. The price hike is attributed to market changes, raw materials, production costs, and currency fluctuations. Let’s take a closer look at the details.
The Mazda CX-60 range now starts at $60,400 for the Evolve G40e mild-hybrid and goes up to $86,100 for the Azami P50e plug-in hybrid, before on-road costs.
In terms of sales, the Mazda CX-60 has been outsold by various competitors, including the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Lexus NX, Mercedes-Benz GLC wagon, Porsche Macan, and Volvo XC60. However, it has surpassed the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Genesis GV70, and Maserati Grecale in terms of sales.
The Mazda CX-60 is available with three powertrain options: the D50e and P50e mild hybrids, and the P50e plug-in hybrid. The D50e offers a 3.3-litre turbocharged inline-six petrol engine with 209kW of power and 450Nm of torque. The P50e, on the other hand, features a 2.5-litre four-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine with a total system output of 241kW and 500Nm.
The CX-60 models equipped with the 3.3-litre turbocharged inline-six petrol engine have a claimed combined fuel consumption of 7.4L/100km, while the diesel engine offers a claimed combined fuel consumption of 4.9L/100km. The PHEV powertrain has a claimed electric range of 76km.
In terms of dimensions, the Mazda CX-60 measures 4740mm long, 1890mm wide, and up to 1680mm tall. It boasts a boot space of 477L with the rear seats upright and 1726L with the rear bench folded flat.
The Mazda CX-60 comes with a five-star safety rating from ANCAP and offers a range of safety features, including autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and surround-view camera.
The 2024 Mazda CX-60 is covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, with servicing required every 12 months or 15,000km for petrol models and every 12 months or 10,000km for diesel models.
