Shocking Collision in New South Wales: Car Flips Over in Dashcam Footage
Could this accident have been prevented? What are your thoughts?
Did you see this coming? Dash Cam Owners Australia has just released jaw-dropping dashcam footage of a collision in New South Wales that resulted in a vehicle landing on its roof.
The dashcam footage, which lasts nearly a minute, captures a car moving along a two-way suburban road. The road is lined with parked vehicles on both sides, leaving very little room for maneuvering.
Within just eight seconds of the video, a Ford Ranger cab-chassis emerges from its parked position and crashes into the dashcam vehicle. The force of the impact causes the dashcam vehicle to flip over and come to rest upside down.
What’s particularly concerning is that the Ranger owner doesn’t appear to have used their indicator before pulling out. Furthermore, they seemingly didn’t notice the presence of the dashcam vehicle in their side mirror.
Once the dashcam vehicle has rolled onto its roof, the Ranger abruptly comes to a halt. The aftermath of the collision is unclear, and it is uncertain whether anyone involved sustained any injuries.
